So just arrived in Chicago - and before anything else, it needs to be said that the guest house we're staying at is not so much a guest house as it is luxury upscale city apartment.
It's ridiculous.
The woman, Tracey, who owns the place decided to bump us up to the luxury house she rents just because it was free. (Secretly I think she's discriminating towards Obama supporters)
Honestly, when we arrived, I felt like we were on the Real World or Big Brother - we burst into every room wide-eyed and acting real ghetto ("ohhhh SNAP!" "Look at those drapezzz!" "Is that parquet? That's f$%king parquet!").
So, there's two bathrooms, four bedrooms, wireless (obviously), satellite, a massive sitting room with leather couches, a back porch, massive kitchen... and just an all-round "you are way too poor to be here"
We'll post some pictures later, but for now we're off to get some food & liquor (as per every street corner)
More to come, but now, fellow correspondent Mitch uncovers the latest presidential debate between Barack and John.
Scary.
welcome
-- Here you'll find commentary, news, reviews and thoughts. Currently I'm in Chicago until Nov 5th to cover the election and frollick in Obama's backyard. Enjoy updates as soon as they're in. Cheers. ap.
